Com 10 anos de experiência e conhecimento do protocolo Olímpico de Cerimônia de Premiação, fui convidado para realizar os Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud Buenos Aires 2018. Numa função dupla de Victory Ceremonies Assistant Manager & Project Manager.
Foram seis meses morando na capital Argentina, aonde tive um grande desafio com o idioma, cultura e orçamento reduzido para realizar a pré produção e operação dos Jogos.

Intensive training programme
Responsible for recruiting local paid staff team, interview and hiring 27 professionals. Training was conducted in the local Spanish language for paid staff and more than 300 volunteers through specific workshops and practical training.

Broadcast Integration
Integration with OBS (Broadcast) team to validate podium positions, lighting, flow and camera positioning.
Planning
Planning all operation, distribution of functions, definition of deadlines, control milestones and support to the Local Organizing Committee (BAYAGOG).
Budgeting
Hiring and monitoring local and international suppliers for purchase ceremonial items such as podiums and trays. Import and distribution in competition venues.
Policy, Procedures & Reports
Validation of policies, creation of manuals and documents for local team operation. Development weekly and monthly reports for monitoring.
Integration between offices
Integration between the two partner companies in the project, Pro-Enter (Argentina) and SP2 (Brazil). Interface between the partners in the countries.
Operation
12 dias de Jogos Olímpicos
Responsible for the Youth Olympic Park, where more than half of all the Victory Ceremonies were held. Managing a team of 12 professionals and more than 150 volunteers. Management interface with all related functional areas, control of ceremonial items such as medals, flags, gifts.
